Registering and Submitting an Application:
- Funding requests must be submitted online through the Genentech Funding System, which can be accessed using the apply for funding button to the right
- All organizations register using the same process and require basic information so Genentech can determine the proper type of funding. Click here for a registration tip sheet.
- After submitting your basic information, you will be asked a series of questions to ascertain the correct type of funding. Based on your answers, you will be directed to an application specific to your funding type
- Once a request is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email
Our Review of Your Application
- Please review our deadlines to get familiar with our quarterly grant review schedule
- If an application is incomplete or funding type does not match the original request a Request for Information (RFI) will be sent to the requestor
- All requests are reviewed for compliance to Genentech's policies for grant funding
Evaluating Your Request
- Decision on funding requests are determined after a full review and evaluation of the application and supporting documents
- You will receive an email communication regarding the decision
Payment Process
- If an application is approved, you will received a grant agreement
- The agreement must be signed by an authorized signer
- You will receive the funding via check after returning the signed grant agreement
- Activity monitoring, evaluation and reconciliation is required for particular funding types
- If your proposal is funded you will be informed in writing of any reporting requirements and any other guidelines needed to fulfill your grant agreement.
